Bio

• Clinical Interests: I have worked with the issue of Intimate Partner Violence for 16 years. I began my professional career with Family Services as the Coordinator of Community Outreach and Engagement. My responsibilities included coordinating the agency’s engagement with the community regarding domestic violence and sexual assault issues. Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of Holistic Success Services at Forsyth Tech Community College. I have been with the Safe Office at Wake Forest since its establishment in 2013.
• Counseling Style: Leading and /or facilitating community-wide efforts to improve services to victims and reduce the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault. Working with specific populations to design and implement targeted intervention and prevention activities
• Personal: I am the mother of one adult daughter and grandmother to one sweet little boy. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Omega Chapter, and other community organizations. I enjoy crafting, reading, and traveling when time permits.
