Safe Office Community Engagement

She/Her/Hers

Bio

  • What drew you to working with the Safe Office? I was drawn to work with Safe Office for its deep commitment to empowering survivors and fostering a culture of care and respect. Their focus on providing confidential support for individuals experiencing interpersonal violence, including through crisis response, advocacy, and survivor-led counseling, aligns with my personal and professional goals for helping others. I also appreciate its collaborative approach, partnering with campus and community resources for violence prevention and intervention education, which further contributes to building a safer, more inclusive community for everyone.
  • Personal Interests: Originally from China, I moved to New York City for education and work. It’s my first time visiting/living in Winston-Salem and I have come to love the rich community and the scenic beauty of North Carolina. In my free time, I enjoy exploring local parks and hiking trails, finding solace in nature. I’m an avid reader and often indulge in books on psychology and art. I love to travel within the U.S. and internationally during holidays.
