Bio

  • Clinical Interests: Child welfare experience/involvement; Navigating relationships; Interpersonal violence; Substance use disorder and prevention; Marginalized populations; Intergenerational trauma; Multicultural trauma, specifically associated with Indigenous populations; Emerging adulthood
  • Counseling Style: My counseling style involves creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere that facilitates a sense of collaboration and respect for one another. I do my best to meet each individual where they’re at, allowing them to lead the conversation at their own pace. I believe that movement supports open conversations, whether it be playing with fidget toys, coloring, or walking outside during sessions when the weather permits. I utilize a combination of a person-centered approach, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral concepts.
  • Personal: I am originally from Arizona and am a mountain girl through and through. On the weekends, you can find me adventuring in the wilderness with my dogs, identifying local fruits, berries, and mushrooms. I love reading, listening to podcasts, and singing to my favorite songs in the car. I love cooking and baking, often attempting to “veganize” delicious comfort meals for all to enjoy!
